MANGO RICE

Ingridents

  • Boiled rice(2 cups)
  • ghee(4tsp)
  • Gratted mango(1 cup)
  • oil(1tbsp)
  • mustard seeds(1/4 tsp)
  • peanuts(1 tbsp)
  • urad dall(1/2 tbsp)
  • bengal gram(1/2 tbsp)
  • garlic(5 no.)
  • green chilli (4 no.)
  • tumeric powder (1/4 tsp)
  • salt
  • onion(1 no.)
  • grated coconut(3 tbsp)
  • coriander leaves
  • curry leaves
  • sugar(a pinch)

prepration

  • At first cook the rice and keep it aside to cool down silightly.

  • take a mango and peel it then grate it  
  • Heat the oil in a pan at low flame  then add the mustard seeds and let it pop.
  • Then add peanut seeds
  • And add the urad dall and bengal gram roast them
  • Then add the garlic and add green chili 
  • And add onion cook till they became brown
  • Add some coriander leaves and add the grated mango cook it well
  • then add two tbsp of ghee saute it well
  • Add curry leaves and turmeric powder and salt and a pinch of sugar cook it well
  • Add  grated coconut cook  it two minutes 
  • In the  cooked rice add two tbsp of ghee and mix it well and add this with the cooked mango and mix it well and gently
  • Add some coriander leaves and add some more ghee then turn off the stove
serving tips:our yummy mango rice is ready to serve with the chips or appalam
