Amla rice/gooseberry rice
Amla Rice
Ingredients:
1. Amla(1/4 cup) grated
2. Mustard seeds(1/4 tsp)
3. Urad dal(1 tsp)
4. Bengal gram(1 tsp)
5. Peanuts(2 tbsp)
6. Turmeric powder(1/4 tsp)
7. Curry leaves
8. Coriander leaves
9. Garlic(4 No.)
10. Red Chillies
11. Salt
12. Cooked rice( 1 cup)
13. Oil(3 tbsp)
14. Asafoetida( a Pinch)

12. Cooked rice( 1 cup)
13. Oil(3 tbsp)
14. Asafoetida( a Pinch)
Preparation:
1.At first take one cup of cooked rice and add 1 tablespoon of oil in it and mix it well. Keep this separately.2.Grate the Amla using the grater remove the seeds and keep it aside.
3. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds let it splutter then add Bengal gram, urad dal and peanuts.
4. Now add garlic after garlic becomes golden brown add curry leaves and red Chillies.
5. Then add asafoetida and turmeric powder.
6. Now add grated Amla mix it well add some salt cook it 3 minutes switch off the flame.
7. Add the cooked Amla In the cooked rice and mix it well add some coriander leaves our Amla rice is ready to serve.
