Idli podi/ Home made Idli,Dosa Podi

IDILI PODI

Ingredients:

1. Bengal gram(100grams)
2. Urad dal(50 gram)
3. Black sesame seeds(1 tsp)
4. Asafoetida( small pinch)
5. Red chillies(4 No.)
6. Salt

Preparation:

1. At first take a dry pan and dry roast the bengal gram until it become golden brown in the low flame and keep it aside. 
2. Similarly dry roast the urad dal and keep it aside.
3. Then dry roast the sesame seeds until it gets pop and keep 
it separately.
4. Dry roast the RedChillies. Leave all of them get cool down 
for 20 minutes.
 5. Add asafoetida and required amount of salt.
 6 . Now dry grinder the urad dal, Bengal gram, red chilli asafoetida and salt separately.

7. Then grind the sesame seeds separately for few seconds (don't  
grind it too much it will ooze out the oil)and mix it with the dal mixture powder.
8. Idli podi is ready to serve with the gingelly oil or sesame oil for  idli and dosa (using this idli podi we can make the Podi dosa also).
